ICAC Task Force

“The New Hampshire Internet Crimes Against Children (NH ICAC) Task Force is responsible for investigating cases of child sexual exploitation involving the use of high technology throughout the state of New Hampshire.”

Deerfield Police Department has benefited from a partnership with NH ICAC. ICAC receives and translates reports of abuse for DPD and provides expert technical assistance relating to any investigates as they progress. Without an established and extensive Detective Bureau, DPD does not have the staffing and/or funding to monitor internet crimes. NH ICAC allows for DPD to investigate and prosecute internet-related crimes that would otherwise go undetected. Currently, DPD has one supervisor and one officer assigned as liaison to the task force.
