It is the mission of the Deerfield Police Department to deliver quality services and provide public safety to our community in an effective, responsive, and professional manner.
The Deerfield Police Department is a full-service law enforcement agency serving a community of approximately 5,100 residents in an area encompassing 53 square miles and over 90 miles of road. We are a community-oriented policing agency focusing on community partnerships and problem-solving to maintain or improve the quality of life the citizens of Deerfield expect.
Our agency is staffed with eight full-time officers to include the Chief of Police, Lieutenant, Sergeant, and five full-time patrolmen. We also have an Administrative Assistant who provides secretarial, record keeping, and clerical support on a full-time basis. The patrol function is also supplemented with one part-time patrol officer who is utilized to fill open shifts and provide extra manpower during community events. We are currently dispatched through the Rockingham County Sherriff’s Regional Dispatch center 24/7.
We encourage public input, so please feel free to contact us with any suggestions, comments, questions, or concerns regarding the Deerfield Police Department.
